In Saturday’s 4wd event, I got bumped off the TQ spot in the last round of qualifying. In the main it was pretty much a clean run in 2nd place from start to finish as I wasn’t hooked up quite as good as the 1st place finisher and just couldn’t make up the ground. So, 2nd place in the A Main for me with my Team Orion Vortex 6.5 BL motor and Team Orion Platinum 4800LiPo battery powered Kyosho Lazer ZX5.
In Sunday’s 2wd event, I had put a little more pressure on myself as it is my favorite class to race in. Timing issues made for a re-run of the first qualifier. A rough start had me sitting in 5th spot overall in a very tight group of drivers led by Losi Team Driver Keith Billanti from the
